Disasters don’t choose when or where to strike. Schools are a place of safety and learning for our young students. An unexpected storm struck in the early morning hours before the first day of school. Soon after the storm damage was noticed, school was cancelled for that day, and we arrived on the scene. Spring is here for 2022 along with rainy and stormy days  

When we think of Spring we think of blooming flowers and budding trees. But spring isn't always a pleasant season. Spring can bring a variety of hazards to our front doors.

What is going on with the Weather?

It is in the middle of Summer and we have wildfires from extreme drought and heat happening on the West coast and Flooding in the Midwest and East Coast here in the US.  

Towns are being totally burned to ashes leaving many with no homes or business's to come back to.

We are in the middle of hurricane season and had one hit the New England area.  The last hurricane to hit that region is 30 years ago.  This is causing wind and flood damage for many New England areas.  The Mid West is having it's share of heat and rain also.

I am asking what is going on?  We just had our crazy freeze storm earlier this year.

Storms come anytime of the year and cause extreme damage in its path.
